Growing up I never thought that one day I would be selling my jewelry creations. In my late forties I was in between jobs and started dabbling in metalsmithing in my garage in Italy. When I made my first big statement ring I knew I was hooked. LjBjewelry was launched in 2011 and it has been an amazing journey for sure. I am self taught and I continuously strive to hone and improve my skills. Using traditional metalsmithing techniques I aim to create unique and substantial pieces of jewelry that you will cherish for a lifetime.
With 13 years of experience creating jewelry, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a warm earthy style are always part of my jewelry designs.
I use traditional silversmithing techniques with every design. Soldering, Forging, Sawing, Casting and Texturing are techniques I use daily. All my creations are created from scratch here in my small studio on Cape Cod where I currently live.
I strive to work in a eco-conscious studio and work primarily with recycled sterling silver and various gemstones.
During the past two years my son Andrea Tuse' has joined me in the studio. He studied metalsmithing in Italy for 5 years while in school. We collaborate on some designs but he also creates his own pieces. You can find a few of his creations in the Nature inspired Jewelry Collection You can also follow him on Instagram The House of Stones and Metal
