Intro to jewelry workshop is designed for the jeweler just starting out in the world of metalsmithing, this is a one-day workshop designed for beginners or anyone looking to make their own jewelry.

In this comprehensive workshop, you'll have the opportunity to dive into various techniques and explore the world of jewelry fabrication. Perfect for the beginner student as a starting point before taking our 6 week metalsmithing class. 
Techniques Covered: Throughout the workshop, you'll learn a variety of techniques such as sawing, torch fabrication, forming applications, creating textures, finishing, and polishing. These essential techniques are basic foundation skills for jewelry making and will allow you to create quality pieces that you can wear home!
Project Options: As a beginner, you'll have the opportunity to choose from several exciting project options. You can create a stacking ring set, a bangle bracelet set, or earrings using the skills you learn throughout the workshop. Additionally, you can explore the world of torch enamel and create beautiful enamel earrings or a pendant. If you are an avid beach stone collector, you can bring your stones to create unique and fun beach stone pendants.

Intermediate Metalsmith Class:

5:30-8:30 Thursday nights
Students can choose from projects that include bezel setting, tube setting, flush setting. Students must be at an intermediate level, familiar with soldering, sawing, forming and finishing/polishing
