This tutorial will show how I make a sterling silver tube bangle using special hammers and stakes. The bangle starts out as a piece sterling silver sheet and is raised and formed into a tube bangle that you can use in your jewelry designs. The tutorial is 5 pages long with process photos and instructions . Learning new metalsmith techniqes always gives the artist a wider range of design choices.

The techniques required are annealing, soldering, raising and forming, and sanding.

An intermediate level of metalsmithing is required.

20 gauge silver sheet (or base metals)
Flux
Hard and Easy Solder
Torch
Fretz Raising hammer
Fretz Planishing hammer nylon
Fretz forming stake
Bracelet mandrel
Anvil
Cross Peen Hammer
Chaising Hammer
Bench Grinder
Raw Hide Mallot
