Hollow forms are some of my favorite things to make, and this ring is a good example of why.

The top is a hollow form dome — two pieces of sterling silver fabricated and soldered together into a low rounded shape. It is not solid. It has a quietness to it, a little weight without being heavy. The sides of the setting are textured and finished with a patina, and right in the center of the dome is a small hand stamped leaf and branch. It is subtle until you look closely, and then it is exactly right.
