Royston Turquoise Cuff Bracelet in Sterling Silver

I had another Kingman set aside for this cuff and pulled it at the last minute. This Royston came from my own small stash, a little collection I hold onto for myself and almost never put into a piece. But when I set it next to the reticulated silver strip I'd already made for the band, something settled.  They wanted to be together.

Royston turquoise comes from a district in Nevada known for stones in every shade from sky blue to mossy green, often veined with warm matrix. This one sits in a smooth oval bezel, connected to the band with silver loops. The reticulated strip is riveted to the cuff, and the whole piece is finished with a patina that lets the darkness settle into every low place and brings the color of the stone forward.
