Materials:sterling silver, garnet

This garnet is a dark burnt orange, like the last bit of a sunset, and the camera never quite gets it right. You really have to see it in person.

It’s rose cut, so the facets are soft and glowy rather than flashy, and they pull you right into that color. I set it with the point facing down, the way it felt right to me, and finished the edge around the bezel with sand texture highlighted with a patina.

It hangs from a 20 inch oval rolo chain.
