Amethyst Pendant Necklace | Handmade Sterling Silver Flower Pendant

This one makes me think of finding something tucked inside a little silver bowl.
The amethyst is a high dome cabochon, deep purple with a glow in the center when the light comes through. I framed it with a flower design and gave it a sand texture, then set that whole flower inside a shallow silver cup held by little prongs around the edge. Every layer has its own job, and the stone sits right in the middle of it all.
It hangs from a 20 inch oval bead chain, which has a nice weight and a soft sparkle that moves with you.
