Leather Bracelet Video Tutorial

The leather bracelet tutorial is finally here! This is my very first tutorial where I demonstrate how I make a piece of jewelry from start to finish.  The leather bracelets made in the video are shown in the photos. They are both created  with veg tanned leather and have a sterling silver stone setting as it's focal point. I hope you find it helpful and inspiring. Intermediate metalsmithing skills are required for the metalwork part of the project. You must be familiar with soldering, sawing, filing and stone setting.  I demonstrate how I fabricate the stone setting, add texture, closures, and decorative tube rivets. If you are a beginner jewelry maker don't be afraid to dive in. I show different techniques and tips that could help you learn new skills.

The techniques used for the leather bracelet are beginner level.   I demonstrate and explain the required tools and where you can purchase them.  In the video you will see different  ways to texture or stamp your leather bracelet, dying your leather, finishing touches and how to attach them to your stone setting.
