Large Beach Stone Pendant with Brown Suede Cord

I am always looking for stones with a flat top. When I find one the right shape — wide, smooth, naturally flat across the upper edge — I know exactly what it wants to be. This one reminded me of a little purse the moment I picked it up on the beach.

The end cap is hand fabricated sterling silver with a botanical leaf impression pressed into the surface. A tube grommet sits at the center, riveted through the stone to secure the cap. The patina settles into the leaf texture and makes every line come forward.

The stone is exactly as I found it on a Cape Cod beach. I never alter the shape.

The suede cord is knotted to the bail and the hook clasp is handmade — forged sterling silver, riveted to the cord.
